Leitrim Sports Partnership
Established in 2009 as part of Leitrim County Council, Leitrim Sports Partnership (LSP) works to increase participation in sport, physical activity, and recreation for everyone in County Leitrim.

We are proud of our county and passionate about the people who make it special. We believe that sport and physical activity are powerful drivers of inclusion, wellbeing, and community connection.
Our Mission
“To lead, coordinate, and support the development and delivery of sport and recreational activity throughout County Leitrim.”
Through collaboration with local clubs, schools, community groups, statutory agencies, and national bodies, we:
- Deliver programmes that promote active lifestyles for all ages and abilities.
- Support inclusive and accessible sport opportunities across the county.
- Build local capacity through training, leadership, and volunteer development.
- Strengthen partnerships that create sustainable, positive change.
- Together, we are building a vibrant sporting culture that celebrates participation, teamwork, and the wellbeing of every person in Leitrim.
